Comprehensive beauty company VT Cosmetics (hereinafter referred to as VT) announced on the 4th that it won the grand prize in the beauty and perfume category at the 'SHOP OF THE YEAR' of the Japanese e-commerce platform Rakuten.
Rakuten's 'SHOP OF THE YEAR' is the most prestigious awards ceremony hosted by Japan's largest e-commerce platform Rakuten, and VT has been honored with the grand prize for two consecutive years since last year. In particular, in 2023, it was the first Korean brand to win the grand prize in the cosmetics and perfume genre, and by winning again this year, it has proven its brand power in the Japanese market.
VT has recently been receiving successive awards at major domestic and international award ceremonies, including the Qoo10 Awards 2024 and the Best Cosmetics Brand Award in Korea 2024. In particular, it has solidified its position as a global brand representing K-beauty by achieving a cumulative total of 265 awards at various award ceremonies hosted by domestic and international beauty media and distributors.
A VT official said, “We are very honored to have won the grand prize for two years in a row at Rakuten’s ‘SHOP OF THE YEAR,’ which has global authority,” and “This is the result of global consumers recognizing VT’s product capabilities and brand value.” They added, “We will continue to contribute to raising the status of K-beauty through innovative product development and differentiated marketing.”
