DeepBrain AI (CEO Jang Se-young), a domestic generative artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 4th that it has registered a trademark (application number 40-2024-0081957) for the AI memorial service 'Re;memory'.
DeepBrainAI's Rememory is an AI memorial service that realistically recreates the faces, voices, and facial expressions of deceased family members. It presented a new concept of memorial culture using AI and won the Innovation Award in the Virtual & Augmented Reality category at CES 2023. Through this trademark registration, the brand value and market leadership of the Rememory service have been officially recognized.
Rememory creates an 'AI deceased' with just one photo and 10 seconds of audio, capturing the deceased's appearance and voice while they were alive and preserving their precious memories even after separation. In other words, the deceased can be recreated as AI even after death without having to visit the studio in person, so the service has a wide range of applications. The AI deceased video can be viewed on all devices that run videos, including PCs, mobile phones, tablets, and kiosks.
Deep Brain AI is actively pursuing cooperation with nationwide memorial halls, mutual aid companies, etc. to popularize remembrance services and spread new remembrance cultures. In particular, it has formed strategic partnerships with major domestic mutual aid companies and is providing mutual aid product-linked services. Furthermore, it plans to expand its AI deceased memorial service business so that bereaved families can recall memories of the deceased at funeral halls with pre-produced AI memorial images.
In addition to funerals, it is expected that the remembrance service will be used in various situations such as weddings, birthdays, and family gatherings. In fact, there was a case where parents implemented as AI deceased people moved their children by sending congratulatory messages at their weddings.
