
New media comprehensive content company 'The SMC Group (CEO Yongtae Kim)' announced on the 4th that it achieved six crowns at the digital awards ceremony '2024 ANDAward'.
The And Awards, now in its 18th year, is the largest digital industry event in Korea, hosted by the Korea Digital Enterprise Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Promotion Corporation, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. Works that have contributed to the digital industry over the past year are selected through strict evaluation.
In the Digital Advertising & Campaign category, DSMC Group won ▲Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation President’s Award in the Food and Beverage category ▲Grand Prix 2 in the Large Shopping Mall and E-Commerce Platform category ▲Winner 2 in the Home Appliances category ▲Social Contribution category. In the Digital Media & Service category, they achieved the feat of winning 6 awards by winning ▲Grand Prix in the Social Contribution category.
The 'Binggrae Secret Semester' campaign, which won the Korea Broadcast Advertising Promotion Corporation President's Award and the Grand Prix, was recognized for its topicality as an online and offline participatory campaign that drew sympathy from Generation Z.
The Grand Prix winners include Shinsegae Preferty Starfield's 'Brand Field' series, which tells the stories of brands that have moved into the store through an interview format, and Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation's 'Emotion Store', a youth suicide prevention campaign that encourages voluntary participation.
The winners were Sony Korea's 'Study Headphones for Studying' online promotional campaign and the National Integration Committee's 'Swan that Listens to Hearts' campaign, which effectively promoted the new integrated suicide prevention hotline '109'.
