Korea Digital Asset Trust (KDAC) announced on the 4th that it has joined as a validator of the financial blockchain mainnet Injective.
KDAC is the largest virtual asset trustee in Korea, with NH Nonghyup Bank and Shinhan Bank as shareholders, and is the only virtual asset trustee to have obtained internal control certification (SOC 1 Type 2) for financial reporting of its clients. In addition, it is storing virtual assets of approximately 100 large corporations and listed companies in accordance with external accounting audit guidelines.
Injective is a Layer 1 enterprise finance blockchain that aims to connect traditional finance and Web3, and has strengths in cross-chain interoperability and DeFi. Injective’s existing validators include NTT Digital, an affiliate of Japan’s largest telecommunications company, and Galaxy Digital, a global digital asset and blockchain leader.
KDAC cooperates with existing validators to maintain the ecosystem of injective blockchains and contributes to network operation through block verification in Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains. Validators play an important role in maintaining the stability of blockchains.
“We are delighted to participate in the Injective Protocol as a validator,” said Min-soo Kim, CEO of KDAC. “KDAC will continue to expand its cooperation with Injective based on its leadership in the Korean virtual asset market.”
“Injective is paying close attention to regulatory clarification in the Korean corporate market and looks forward to providing innovative products to Korean corporate customers in the future,” said Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs.
