Pluto announced on the 4th that it will provide a real-time multilingual interpretation and translation system based on AI technology to 8 branches of Gwangju Bank.
The AI translation solution introduced by Pluto this time is 'Chat Translation Enterprise', which supports a total of 38 languages in real time, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Malay. This allows counter staff and foreign customers to communicate smoothly in their native language.
The branches where the solution is currently installed include Songjeong Branch, Jinwol-dong Branch, Wolgok-dong Branch, Chonnam National University Branch, Heukseok Intersection Branch, and Naju Branch. In addition, an AI multilingual interpretation and translation system is scheduled to be installed at 12 counters in a total of 8 branches, including the newly-established Foreign Financial Center and the mobile branch exclusively for foreign customers.
Pluto's system was developed to suit the characteristics of Gwangju Bank and aims to provide efficient services. Frequently used customer response phrases can be easily sent as multilingual messages by clicking a button within the app, and the voice recognition rate for the Jeonnam dialect has been improved to enable smooth communication with elderly customers.
Lee Jeong-su, CEO of Pluto, said, “I am glad that Gwangju Bank customers in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions can now use financial services more conveniently through AI translation technology,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to building a global financial ecosystem by developing customized AI language solutions that reflect regional characteristics.”
