Mokoflex Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Na-ra), which operates the integrated QR order and AI marketing solution ‘Qro’, announced that it has registered a patent for a ‘secure ordering system and method using QR codes’.
Mokoplex's flagship product, 'Qro', is a solution that provides integrated marketing services such as table ordering, point accumulation, review event registration, and notification messages to regular customers based on QR codes and AI. It is currently being used in offline stores in various industries such as F&B, fashion, lifestyle, and accommodation after only one year of pilot operation.
This patent is a technology to prevent external false orders that may occur in stores that use QR code online ordering systems, and is characterized by incorporating a dual security element that combines the customer's possession information and order password.
With Mokoplex's patented technology, when a customer scans a QR code, the store owner can first verify whether the customer is seated at a table through the store's POS machine, and can block outside access in advance using the password set by the customer when ordering the first product.
Until now, QR codes for ordering have measured customer visits using a location information system (GPS), so store owners have had difficulties collecting real-time location information and identifying false orders from customers who did not actually visit the store.
Based on this patent, Mokoflex will provide a stable and reliable QR code ordering system to merchants using Quro. Last year, it also registered a technology patent related to a ‘point management server and payment system including it’, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency of Quro merchants.
