Cielab announced that it has obtained a 'Class A' rating in the Data Quality Certification (DQ Certification) project hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency.
DQ certification is a system that evaluates and certifies data quality according to the Framework Act on the Promotion of Data Industry and Utilization, and focuses on strengthening data management capabilities and improving reliability. In this certification process, Cielab submitted LVM Automobile (91 classes) and Logo (124 classes) data as certification targets, and about 20,000 object data and labeling (annotation bounding box, segmentation) data passed the certification process without a single error, obtaining a Class A grade. The certification was received from Wise Stone.
SeeLab's X-GEN is a proprietary synthetic data generation platform that can generate learning data under various conditions. It reproduces various variables and scenarios such as weather conditions, time, and camera angles, and can automatically generate more than 100 sheets of data per minute, saving time and cost while providing high-quality data.
“This Class A rating is a testament to our data creation and management technology,” said Lee Moon-kyu, Cielab’s Chief Leader. “We will continue to secure high-quality data to solve AI and data shortage issues and contribute to industrial development.”
WiseStone CEO Lee Young-seok said, “SeeLab’s LVM synthetic dataset presents a new possibility for efficiently securing high-quality data required for AI learning,” and “By overcoming the difficulties of collecting actual data and generating high-quality data reflecting various variables, we will be able to increase the speed of AI model development and improve accuracy.” He added, “In particular, we expect it to greatly contribute to the advancement of AI technology because it can safely generate various data, including rare cases and dangerous situations.”
