TwigFarm announced on the 31st that it is providing content localization services utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) dubbing technology in cooperation with global media company ODK Media. This cooperation will be applied to AmazianTV, the first Asian FAST streaming platform in North America, and major global streaming platforms to which ODK Media provides content. This is a strategic decision to respond to the increasing demand for dubbed content in the North American market and to drastically reduce localization costs and production times.
It is known that in the North American market, a high proportion of viewers prefer dubbing over subtitles. However, the traditional dubbing production method has been a burden to content delivery platform operators due to high costs and long production times. TwigFarm's AI dubbing solution solves these problems and enables fast and efficient dubbing production.
A Twigfarm official said, “AI technology has enabled us to provide viewers with the content they want at a lower cost,” adding, “This will be a great opportunity for content platform operators.”
This contract was concluded after Twigfarm won competition not only with local North American companies but also with global companies, emphasizing that Twigfarm's technology and solutions have been recognized for their high competitiveness in the global market.
ODK Media plans to introduce TwigFarm’s AI dubbing service to strengthen its competitiveness in the North American market and provide improved localization experiences to viewers. Peter Park, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of ODK Media, said, “Dubbing services are a very important factor for Asian content to become mainstream content in the North American market,” and “We have high expectations for the AI dubbing collaboration with TwigFarm.”
