AETECH (CEO Taehyung Park) announced on the 27th that it won the Next Innovator Award at 'NextRise 2025' co-hosted by the Industrial Bank of Korea and the Korea International Trade Association. This award is a recognition of the innovation and marketability of its automated waste sorting technology.
The Next Innovator Award is given to promising domestic and international startups based on a comprehensive evaluation of their technological prowess, business viability, and social impact.
Aettech presented solutions to the inefficiency and high cost issues of the existing waste disposal industry through innovative technologies such as the AI-based waste automatic sorting robot 'atron', the robot-based waste automation facility 'airo-mrf', and the public multi-use facility specialized solution 'multi-tron'. In particular, the use of AI and robotics technologies to increase sorting efficiency and resource recovery rate was highly evaluated.
Aettech stated, “As resource circulation is essential in the era of climate crisis, we will grow into a company that presents solutions through technology,” and “With this award as an opportunity, we plan to leap forward as an industrial technology leader that drives circular economy innovation in the global market.”
