SAP Korea to Hold 'SAP Now AI Tour Korea'

SAP Korea (CEO Shin Eun-young) announced on the 1st that it will hold the 'SAP NOW AI Tour Korea' at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel on July 15th. This event will be a place for SAP customers, partners, and industry experts to share business innovation strategies centered on artificial intelligence (AI).

'SAP Now Korea', which used to be an annual event, has been organized in a format specializing in business AI since this year. It focuses on discussing various challenges that companies face in the process of adopting AI and introducing SAP's latest technologies and solutions.

At the event, SAP Chief Human Resources Officer Gina Vargiu-Breuer and SAP President of Data & Analytics Irfan Khan will present as keynote speakers on the topic of ‘Unleash your future with business AI.’

In addition, actual SAP adoption cases of domestic and foreign companies will be introduced. S-OIL's Jong-in Lim, head of the IT division (executive director), will share a cloud conversion case based on 'RISE with SAP', and Kirsten Gilbertson, general manager of SAP GTM and Alliance at Amazon Web Services (AWS), will present a collaboration case with SAP.

In the afternoon, practical sessions will be held divided into four specialized tracks: ▲Finance, HR, and Purchasing ▲Analysis, AI, and Development ▲Sales, Customer Experience, and Supply Chain ▲SAP Solution Implementation. Each session will provide detailed information on SAP’s technology application methods, success stories, and adoption effects.

In addition, a demonstration space for an SAP-based manufacturing site will be set up. The site will reproduce the environment of an actual manufacturing company, such as pipe packing, and a demonstration will be held to show how an AI-based inventory and production management solution linked to ERP and supply chain management systems works.

SAP Korea CEO Shin Eun-young said, “AI is currently changing the paradigm of corporate operations, and its effects can be maximized through the organic connection of applications, data, and AI.” She added, “Through this event, we hope that companies will confirm the specific possibilities of business AI and gain practical insights for establishing future strategies.”
