Liharvest Signs Business Agreement with Invelab

Reharvest and ecosystem restoration company Invelab announced on the 22nd that they signed a strategic business agreement. This agreement was made with the purpose of combining the technological capabilities of both companies to promote environmental protection and resource circulation, with the goal of restoring the ecosystem in areas damaged by wildfires and realizing eco-friendly values.

Reharvest provides linseed powder, a food upcycling raw material, and Invelab uses it to make seed balls. A seed ball is a spherical seed mass covered in nutrient-rich soil. Linseed powder contains nutrients that help plants grow, contributing to increasing the effect of ecological restoration. Invelab uses drone monitoring technology to identify the status of ecological restoration sites, and removes alien species as needed or selects plant species and nutrients suitable for devastated areas to make seed balls.

The two companies plan to restore areas affected by wildfires by combining food upcycling and ecological restoration technology, while sharing messages about environmental protection and resource circulation with the public through campaigns. This collaboration shares a long-term vision and goal for creating a sustainable environment, and has great environmental and social significance.

“The combination of food upcycling and ecological restoration technology presents new possibilities for spreading sustainable value,” said Reharvest CEO Min Alexander Myung-jun. “We will continue to work to contribute to solving environmental problems.” Invelab CEO Shin Won-hyeop said, “With biodiversity conservation and climate crisis response as our core values, we will take the lead in promoting resource circulation and building a sustainable environment through this collaboration.”
