
Jeju International Free City Development Center (Chairman Yang Young-cheol, hereinafter JDC) and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) Eco-friendly Smart Automobile Research Center (Center Director Jang Ki-tae, hereinafter KAIST) are publicly recruiting new companies to move into the Jeju Innovation Growth Center Route330 (KAIST consignment operation) sector.
The 'Route330' program is recruiting about 8 new technology startups in the information and communication field that wish to commercialize within the Jeju region, and applications for entry will be accepted until February 14.
If selected as a tenant company, the term of residence will be until the end of February 2026, and whether to extend the contract will be determined through an annual evaluation.
Companies selected for the project will be provided with business infrastructure such as office space, conference rooms, and lounges within the Jeju Innovation Growth Center, and will be supported with various growth programs such as customized technology consulting from research specialist organizations, R&D, IR consulting, resource linkage and networking, investment attraction linkage using JDC investment funds and financial resources held by partner VCs and ACs, and business cooperation opportunities.
In addition, opportunities to participate in support projects for companies entering the Jeju Advanced Science and Technology Complex, shuttle bus operation, and discount benefits for companies entering the complex are provided.
The selection process will proceed in the following order: submission and receipt of application documents (January 24-February 14), 1st (document) and 2nd (announcement) evaluation (February), selection and signing of occupancy contract (February 24-).

Koo Byung-wook, head of JDC’s Industrial Promotion Headquarters, said, “Last year, we introduced a cooperative partner system with investment specialists and operated a customized growth program for companies, achieving the largest investment attraction performance in a single year for resident companies ever.” He added, “This year as well, we hope to see the interest and participation of many excellent companies with innovative ideas and passion to grow together with Route330.”
Meanwhile, JDC has discovered a total of 198 leading domestic startups and technology companies through the operation of the Jeju Innovation Growth Center since 2019, resulting in the creation of a total of 968 jobs and a cumulative investment attraction of KRW 291.4 billion, and is taking the lead in creating a virtuous startup ecosystem in the Jeju Science and Technology Complex and the region.
Nature Mobility, a company located in Jeju Innovation Growth Center Route 330, was selected as a prospective unicorn (a promising unlisted company with a corporate value of KRW 100 billion or more) by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2024, and Poen is achieving visible results in discovering and fostering promising companies, such as attracting KRW 39 billion in Series B investment.
