Moltail signs business partnership agreement with Gmarket

Connectwave's overseas subsidiary, Moltail, announced on the 24th that it signed a business partnership agreement (JBP, Joint Business Plan) with Gmarket, an e-commerce company affiliated with Shinsegae Group, to strengthen cooperation in overseas direct purchasing.

The signing ceremony was held on the 23rd at the Gmarket headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, and Moltail CEO Kim Hae-dong and Gmarket Sales Director Lee Min-gyu attended to discuss this year's business strategy, cooperation plans, and project progress directions.

Through this JBP agreement, Moltail aims to expand transactions for its products sold on Gmarket and strengthen marketing to promote sales. In particular, Moltail plans to register additional overseas direct purchase products imported from countries around the world in addition to the products currently sold on Gmarket. In addition, Gmarket plans to provide brand shop services to Moltail and open a specialty store within the year. The two companies discussed various cooperation plans, such as sharing release schedules for new product promotions and securing inventory.

In addition, Moltail will receive marketing support to increase sales, including various promotions and securing sales accounts through Gmarket and Auction channels.
