SG Healthcare announced that it signed a 900 million won supply contract for 'JUMONG RF' (hereinafter referred to as 'Jumong RF') with a local customer in Azerbaijan.
The 'Jumong RF' supplied through this contract is a high-performance imaging medical device capable of both general X-ray and fluoroscopy, and is mainly used for examination of the digestive and urinary systems. Representative use cases include gastrointestinal and colonography, and diagnosis is possible by examining X-rays in real time and observing or taking fluoroscopy videos. In addition, the convenience of using the software and operation console is considered an advantage.
This supply contract is different from the existing regular product supply contract in that it is a contract for large-scale supply within Azerbaijan, and the entire quantity is scheduled to be delivered by the first half of this year. This is expected to have a positive impact on this year's performance.
SG Healthcare was listed on KOSDAQ in December of last year and is currently building a global network in various countries including Europe, Africa, Asia, and North and South America. The company operates 126 distribution channels in 77 countries around the world and is strengthening its position in the global medical device market by establishing local corporations in major regions such as the United States, Vietnam, and Chile.
CEO Kim Jeong-su emphasized, “This contract is a recognition of SG Healthcare’s technological prowess and global network capabilities,” and “Going forward, we will apply ‘AI noise canceling’ using our subsidiary Mint Labs’ AI solution technology to the global imaging diagnostic medical device market to provide high-quality diagnostic solutions that drastically reduce X-ray exposure.”
