DLG Law Firm announced on the 24th that it was selected as an excellent law firm in four categories at the '2024 Korea Law Firm Awards' hosted by the Asian regional legal journal 'Asia Business Law Journal' (ABLJ).
DLJ was recognized for its excellence in the following areas: ▲Overseas Investment ▲Data Compliance and Cyber Security ▲Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) ▲Franchise and Licensing. As a result, it has been named along with large law firms such as Kim & Chang, Pacific, Gwangjang, and Sejong. ABLJ selects law firms that have shown outstanding performance in major practice areas based on recommendations from domestic and international in-house lawyers and expert evaluations.
In the field of overseas investment, DLG has stood out in Vietnam corporate transactions, EU Digital Services Act (DSA) regulation review, and Flip advisory for startups entering the US market. In particular, in the Flip process, it was highly evaluated for effectively leading the review of foreign exchange transaction laws and stock exchange procedures.
In the TMT field, we have successfully advised global game developers on exclusive overseas publishing contracts for PC and console games, and have also been recognized for our expertise in advising on ambassador contract disputes for multinational sports brands and on copyrights for generative AI content.
