– Presenting a new paradigm for short narrative story engineering in the AI era

PROM, Korea's leading AI storytelling lab, announced that it will hold a conference on the topic of "Successful Strategies for Short Narrative AI Storytelling in the Era of Price-to-Production" on July 12. This event is drawing attention as the first place where content creators who have achieved first place in the global short-form drama market and AI experts will gather in one place to reveal their success strategies and production processes.
As of 2025, short-form content has gone beyond a mere trend and has become the mainstream of the global content industry, and major platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok are demanding short and intense narratives rather than long stories. In particular, as we enter an era where the success or failure of content is determined by 'timeliness' rather than length, a fundamental change in the existing storytelling method is required.
The core of this conference is the disclosure of specific strategies of successful cases that have been verified in the actual global market. Bamboo Network CEO Jung Da-bin will present the success strategy of 'Must-Have Sharehouse', which ranked first in multiple countries including North America, China, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia on DramaBox. In addition, Box Media Director Jung Seung-won and Studio Wow Director Kim Do-hyung will present the directing process of 'My Daily Fiance' and '19 Again', which achieved first place on the Japanese short-form platform Kanta.
Of particular note is the story engineering methodology through collaboration between AI and humans. Wonders Lab CEO Han Eui-seon presents the global expansion strategy of the process-based author AI 'Wonder Story', and From Director Kim Woo-jung presents the SPE (Story Production Engineering) strategy that encompasses everything from AI prompting to agent construction.
According to From’s Director Woojung Kim, “The common denominator in successful cases in the Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian markets, where short-form content is strong, is not simply the format, but the storytelling process,” and explained, “AI-based production methods that consider platform optimization from the creation and planning stages are becoming a core competitive edge, and at the center of this is story engineering, where humans and AI collaborate.” He added, “In order to keep pace with the rapidly changing artificial intelligence paradigm, we plan to establish a specialized educational institution like ‘Minerva University’ for AI education, which we plan to unveil for the first time at the conference.”
The event will be held on Saturday, July 12th from 2 PM to 5 PM at Maru 180 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and is limited to 60 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Early bird registration was sold out in just one day. Anyone interested in short-form and AI storytelling can participate, and more information can be found on the From official website.
