Lomin (CEO Ji-Hong Kang), a document AI specialized company, announced on the 23rd that it has established a personal information de-identification solution, 'Textscope® Privacy Guard', for the Non-Life Insurance Association .
This project was promoted to strengthen the personal information protection system for major documents and various papers of the Non-Life Insurance Association and to improve work efficiency.
Romin's TextScope Privacy Guard is an advanced solution that detects and de-identifies personal information in text and image documents using deep learning-based AI OCR (Artificial Intelligence Optical Character Recognition) technology and natural language processing (NLP) technology.
This solution supports personal information detection and de-identification in various document formats such as MS Office (PPTX, DOCX, XLSX), Hangul (HWPX), PDF, image files (TIFF, BMP, JPG, PNG) and inserted images. In particular, it has the advantage of being able to accurately detect personal information even in handwriting and low-quality images that were difficult to process with existing technology.
Detectable personal information items include major unique identification information such as resident registration number, phone number, and email, and customized detection models can be designed according to customer needs. Detected information is automatically or manually masked, and intuitive functions are provided for users to modify or additionally set specific areas.
