Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association and Artificial Intelligence Industry Association Sign Business Agreement

The Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) announced on the 2nd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (KAIIA, Chairman Kim In-seok) at the Persona AI headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on June 30th.

KOSA is an organization representing the domestic AI and software industry, and is cooperating with various related associations to represent the voice of the industry and lead the development of the ecosystem. KAIIA is leading the research and development of the domestic and international AI industry, and is contributing to the creation of a safe and reliable AI industry ecosystem through data analysis and generative AI technology research and development.

The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations, including KOSA Executive Vice President Seong-il Seo, KAIIA Chairman In-seok Kim, and Vice President Seung-jae Yoo (CEO of Persona AI).

Based on this agreement, the two associations agreed to strengthen research and development and business cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and to cooperate with each other for the development of the domestic AI industry ecosystem. They plan to carry out various cooperative projects such as joint research and policy development, activation of exchanges between member companies, promotion of joint projects, and support for overseas expansion. They will also actively pursue cooperative projects to foster AI talent.

Seong-il Seo, Executive Vice President of KOSA, said, “This agreement will combine the networks and expertise of both associations, expanding the scope of the domestic AI industry,” adding, “We will expand opportunities for cooperation by leveraging each other’s strengths and lay the foundation for the development of the domestic AI ecosystem.”
