'2025 Yongin Open Innovation Exchange' held.. "Startup-Corporate Cooperation Begins in Full Swing"

The '2025 Yongin Open Innovation 1st Exchange Meeting', which connects cities, culture, and industry through technological innovation, will be held on July 18 (Fri) at the Yongin Special City Media Center.

This event is co-hosted by Yongin City Industrial Promotion Agency and The Innovators Co., Ltd. , and is a technology matching platform based on collaboration between startups and companies held under the theme of “Global Connection of Space and Culture through Smart Technology.”

Currently, promising startups are being recruited until Wednesday, July 16th, and a total of 15 companies will be selected. The selected companies will have a meetup with each demand company on the day of the event and will have the opportunity for business verification (PoC) and follow-up collaboration.

This exchange meeting will be attended by three demand companies: ▲Hyundai Engineering & Construction in the smart construction and environment sector, ▲SM Culture Partners, a culture tech and content industry specialist, and ▲Pullog Co., Ltd., which discovers innovative startups in logistics, trade, and distribution.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction is seeking technological collaboration in the fields of smart construction, safety, and the environment. It is reviewing the establishment of a proof-of-concept (PoC) and public agency cooperation model with startups that possess smart construction and site management technologies such as AI-based on-site safety systems, eco-friendly construction technologies, and real-time environmental monitoring solutions.

SM Culture Partners plans to discover startups centered on culture tech, including metaverse, virtual humans, and IP-based content technology, and promote growth through entry into the global content market, strategic investment, and linkage with acceleration programs.

Pullo Co., Ltd. is pursuing technology matching with startups capable of field verification (PoC) with the goal of supply chain automation and smart logistics advancement. In the future, it plans to support actual commercialization through PoC-based technology verification and distribution network linkage.

The event will be held on July 18th (Friday) from 1 PM to 6 PM at the Yongin Special City Media Center, starting with a special lecture by an open innovation expert (Professor Lee Ju-yeol, Hoseo University), followed by presentations on open innovation tasks by demand companies, sharing of startup success stories, and meetups and networking sessions by demand companies.

Applications for participation are accepted online through Google Forms , and company introduction materials (IR materials, business plans, etc.) can be submitted via email (contact@theinnovators.zone).

An official from The Innovators said, “We have prepared a practical open innovation platform that will connect companies with startups that have the technology they actually need, leading to joint business,” and “We hope this will be an opportunity for the growth of startups with technological prowess and innovation in local industries to occur together.”
