
Daeryun Law Firm announced on the 2nd that it signed an MOU with the Korea Compliance Institute and ESGI to establish a fair trade voluntary compliance program (CP rating evaluation) for companies and an integrated ESG response system.
The signing ceremony held at the branch office of Daeryun Seoul headquarters on the 30th of last month was attended by Daeryun CEO Kim Guk-il, attorney Son Gye-jun, Korea Compliance Promotion Institute Director Lee Jeong-myeong, and ESGI CEO Yong Seok-gwang.
The Korea Compliance Institute is a certification agency that conducts certification audits and trains auditors for corporate corruption prevention, compliance, etc. based on the certification audit of management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In addition, ESGI is an integrated service company that provides professional knowledge and solutions for realizing ESG management, such as corporate ESG consulting, CSDD consulting, and fair trade CP consulting.
Through this agreement, Daeryun plans to build an integrated solution to strengthen the company's compliance management system and improve ESG response capabilities.
Specifically, we plan to provide customized support services for companies, including ▲advisory services on the development of compliance and ethics education programs for executives and employees, ▲advisory services on sustainable management reports and certification responses, and ▲provision of manuals for advance inspection and response to legal risks related to ESG management.
Lee Jeong-myeong, the president of the Korea Compliance Institute, emphasized, “Through this MOU, corporate clients will be able to receive more sophisticated compliance systems and practical training all at once,” and “This will greatly enhance our risk prevention and response capabilities during actual operations.”
ESGI CEO Yong Seok-kwang said, “For companies to connect ESG management to actual management strategies, laws, education, and implementation systems must all be intertwined,” adding, “We expect that our collaboration with Daeryun will be the starting point for this.”
Daeryun CEO Kim Kook-il said, “ESG and compliance management are no longer optional but essential in corporate management,” and added, “Based on Daeryun’s corporate consulting experience, we will actively support companies to simultaneously address the two challenges of compliance and sustainability.”
