Collaboration tool Flow signs contract to supply collaboration tool to 1,100 employees at Kolon FnC

– The gap left by the global collaboration tool ‘Meta Workplace’ has been filled by the domestic collaboration tool ‘Flow’

– Expected to expand the position of domestic collaboration tools in the fashion and distribution industry with the introduction of 1,100 people

Madras Check Co., Ltd., the developer of Korea's leading collaboration tool 'Flow', announced on the 2nd that it signed a formal supply contract for a cloud-based collaboration tool for 1,100 people to Kolon Industries FnC Division (Kolon FnC). Kolon FnC switched to Flow due to the termination of service for its previously used global collaboration tool 'Meta Workplace', and ultimately selected Flow, the only tool in Korea that officially supports 100% data migration.

This contract is evaluated as a symbolic turning point where a domestic solution shook up the fashion industry collaboration environment that had been dependent on global tools, beyond a simple replacement of collaboration tools. The fashion industry had been highly dependent on global tools such as Slack, Notion, and Meta, but the atmosphere is now changing. Flow seems to have fully demonstrated its specialized introduction expertise and know-how in the fashion/retail field by concluding a series of contracts with leading domestic retail companies such as Shinsegae International, BGF Retail, and E-Land Retail, including this Kolon FnC contract. Analysis is that Flow's presence in the domestic fashion and distribution industry will expand even further starting with this Kolon FnC contract.

A Kolon FnC official said, “For a fashion company, it is most important for employees in various positions to communicate quickly and accurately in order to respond to and stay ahead of rapidly changing trends. By introducing Flow, we will create opportunities to further strengthen organizational capabilities by practicing flexible and fast-paced internal collaboration.”

Kolon FnC, Korea's top fashion company, owns many brands with long histories, including Kolon Sport, Custom Mellow, Lucky Chouette, Series, Henry Cotton, and Brentwood, and has recently been expanding its brand portfolio to the eco-friendly, golf, and lifestyle sectors. The introduction of Flow this time is a strategic decision to respond nimbly to these diversified brand operations and the rapidly changing market environment, and is drawing attention from the industry as a case of bold investment to build a hyper-connected digital workplace where employees can focus more on their original work.

Madras Check CEO Lee Hak-jun said, “I feel a great sense of responsibility to be joining a leading fashion company like Kolon FnC on its digital transformation journey.” He added, “We will actively support Kolon FnC, which is accelerating its business expansion beyond fashion to include eco-friendliness, golf, and lifestyle, so that it can have a hyper-connected work environment that is both efficient and flexible.”

In particular, Flow recently announced its evolution into Korea's first AI agent collaboration tool, and is moving beyond simple collaboration to enter the 'era of AI working together'. The 'AI Omni Assistant' function, which allows AI to design projects, automatically convert meeting or email content into work, and even write weekly reports, breaking away from the inefficiency of manually organizing and reporting work, dramatically improves the work productivity and decision-making speed of field workers. Flow's AI function is expected to produce even stronger synergy, from small, elite startups to large organizations.
