Sentbe, Toss and Foreigners Launch Overseas Remittance Service

Sentbe (CEO Sungwook Choi), a global foreign exchange total solution company, is expanding the digital financial experience of foreigners residing in Korea in collaboration with Toss (Operator Viva Republica, CEO Seunggun Lee). Sentbe is providing its overseas remittance service by linking it to the Toss app, allowing foreigners to easily use Sentbe’s overseas remittance service in the intuitive and convenient mobile super app environment of Toss.

Sentbe applied its service strengths to the Toss app. It contains practical advantages that customers can feel, such as a fast remittance speed of at least 5 minutes, reasonable fees that are 90% lower than those of banks, and various receiving options that take into account the recipient country’s environment, such as banks, mobile wallets, cash pickup, and home delivery.

Users can complete the entire remittance process from requesting a remittance to making a deposit in one go within the Toss app, and receive additional features such as checking remittance history, downloading receipts, and receiving notification messages related to remittance status, just like the Sentbe app. Sentbe's customer authentication, remittance information management, and monitoring operation system are also the same as before, ensuring service stability.

Toss customers registered as foreign nationals can use the Sentbe service by selecting the remittance request menu of the linked account on the Toss app home screen and then pressing the overseas menu. Existing Sentbe users can use the Sentbe service provided by the Toss app right away without a separate membership authentication procedure, and even new customers can use the service after a simple authentication procedure. Customers who have used the Sentbe service on the Toss app first can use it immediately on the Sentbe app without a separate authentication procedure.

Currently, the Sentbe overseas remittance service available on the Toss app allows remittances from Korea to four countries: the United States, China, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan, and the recipient countries will be expanded in the future. Sentbe provides customer service in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Uzbek, allowing foreign customers to comfortably make inquiries without language barriers.
