TUV SUDKOREA signs business agreement with PTEL

Global testing and certification agency TUV SUD Korea announced on the 2nd that it signed a business agreement for cooperation in the field of transportation validation with PTEL Co. , Ltd., a packaging and transportation testing agency certified by the International Safe Transport Association (ISTA).

This agreement is a strategic partnership to support domestic companies to effectively respond to major overseas regulations such as the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the European Medical Device Regulations (MDR), and to strengthen product quality and safety when entering the global market.

Transport validation is the process of verifying whether a product is safely transported and maintains quality and effectiveness from various external factors such as temperature, shock, and vibration during distribution and transportation. Major regulatory agencies such as the US FDA and European MDR require transport tests according to international standards such as ISTA and ASTM D 4169, which are important factors in securing product integrity and consumer trust.

PTEL Co., Ltd. has been providing packaging and transportation testing services in various industrial fields such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals/bio, food cold chain, and automobile parts. Through this collaboration, TUV SUD Korea plans to expand the scope of testing application to the pharmaceuticals/bio, food, and electronics industries, thereby strengthening its competitiveness in the packaging and transportation testing field.

“Through our collaboration with PTEL, we have established a foundation to support transportation and packaging testing for a variety of industries,” said Jeong-wook Seo, CEO of TUV SUD Korea. “We will continue to provide support so that domestic companies can increase their global transportation and packaging testing certification competitiveness.”
