CNT Tech, Hanyang University, etc. Collaborate on 'Seoul City RISE Project'

CNT Tech (CEO Jeon Hwa-seong) announced on the 2nd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Hanyang University, Nautilus Investment, Ensle Partners, and Hanyang University Technology Holding Company to foster global startups and support scale-up. This agreement was signed at the '2025 Hanyang University RISE Jisanhak Hall Cooperation Workshop and Agreement Ceremony' held at Hanyang University.

This agreement is being promoted as part of the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s ‘Regional Innovation Centered University Support System (RISE)’ project, and the contracting organizations plan to cooperate in various areas, such as ▲discovering and nurturing global startups ▲linking domestic and foreign investments ▲operating global accelerating programs ▲strengthening IR capabilities and hosting demo days ▲linking partnerships based on overseas networks, to successfully promote the RISE project.

The goal of the Seoul RISE project is to foster regional specialized industries and create a sustainable innovation ecosystem through university-centered regional talent, industry, and technology linkages.

CNT Tech has strengths in early startup investment and global acceleration, and Hanyang University has been promoting regional startup support based on its experience in building a startup ecosystem based on industry-academia cooperation and its research infrastructure. Through this agreement, the two institutions are expected to create synergy in securing the global competitiveness of startups based on their accumulated capabilities.

CNT Tech CEO Jeon Hwa-seong said, “Hanyang University’s excellent research and startup infrastructure and CNT Tech’s early investment and global support capabilities have been combined to create a foundation that can produce tangible startup results,” and “We will actively support startups’ overseas expansion and scale-up through the Jisan Academic Cooperation Model.”

Hanyang University President Lee Ki-jung said, “Through the RISE project, Hanyang University will actively discover startups with global expansion capabilities and take the lead in revitalizing the startup ecosystem as a central hub for industry-academic cooperation.”
