– Providing AI data analysis services on par with large hotels to small and medium-sized accommodations
– Supports profit optimization through real-time competitor monitoring and local event information
– Introducing a mobile-based accommodation industry-specific Vertical AI service

Hospitality AI company ONDA has launched the beta version of 'Pension+ ONDA AI', an AI-based insight service for small and medium-sized accommodation owners.
This service is drawing attention because it provides data-based decision-making tools that were previously only available to large hotel chains to small and medium-sized accommodations. As AI technology becomes more popular and spreads to the travel industry, even small pensions and guesthouses can now utilize the power of big data.
The core functions of Pension Plus Onda AI are real-time monitoring of competitors and provision of local event information. For example, a pension operator in the Boryeong area can check the pricing strategies of nearby competitors in real time during the Boryeong Mud Festival and respond accordingly. An accommodation business owner in the Jeongseon area can plan a special package including a traditional culture experience program in time for the Jeongseon Arirang Festival season, and a pension in the Hwacheon area can develop a fishing equipment rental product during the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Festival.
This goes beyond simple information provision and has the same effect as hiring a professional consultant or revenue management team, all in one mobile app. Onda AI is accessible anytime, anywhere through Android and iOS mobile apps, and Onda’s accumulated data on approximately 40,000 accommodation products in connection with over 70 domestic and international OTAs has made this possible.
Currently, approximately 4,000 accommodation business owners are directly using Onda’s services, and approximately 30,000 businesses are indirectly utilizing Ondahub’s reservation brokerage platform. Based on this scale, Onda plans to expand its accommodation-specific AI services in the future and provide mobile-based Vertical AI services.
The launch of this service also heralds a significant change in the competitive landscape of the accommodation industry. As sophisticated revenue management capabilities monopolized by large hotel chains are now open to small and medium-sized businesses, the industry’s competitive environment is expected to become more fair and dynamic.
CEO Oh Hyun-seok said, “Our goal is to provide an intuitive and effective service that even small and medium-sized accommodation owners who are not familiar with IT can easily utilize,” adding, “We will support small and medium-sized accommodation owners to achieve the same level of operational capabilities as large chain hotels through data-based price optimization and AI technology.”
The Pension Plus Onda AI Beta service will be provided first to existing Onda service users, and more diverse insight functions will be added in the second half of the year.
Meanwhile, ONDA is a hospitality tech & AI company that covers about 60-70% of the domestic online room transaction market. It has built solid partnerships with global big tech companies, such as being selected as the first Airbnb/Trip.com Excellent Partner in Korea and the 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner. It is also emerging as a leader in the global hotel tech market, having been ranked 34th among 'Global PMS Vendors' by Skift, a US travel research company, for the first time among domestic companies. It was selected as an 'Asia Pacific High-Growth Company' by the Financial Times (FT) for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.
