IT security and authentication platform company Laonsecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung and Lee Jeong-ah) announced on July 4 that it signed a 'MOU on digital identity and certification business for AI talent authentication' with the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association (Chairman Kim Hyeon-cheol) and the Korea Digital Certification Association (Chairman Lee Ki-hyeok) . The agreement signing ceremony was held at Laonsecure's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
This agreement was signed in order to secure expertise and reliability in talent certification in the rapidly growing AI industry in line with the government’s strategy of ‘leap forward to become one of the top three AI powers in the world.’ The three organizations plan to jointly build a qualification certification and management system for AI talent using blockchain-based digital ID technology and establish the foundation necessary for talent cultivation.
Laonsecure supports the issuance, management, and verification of AI talent qualification information using its 'OmniOne Digital ID' and 'OmniOne Badge'. The Korea Artificial Intelligence Association will introduce this to its talent matching center business, and the Korea Digital Certification Association will contribute to the expansion of the global AI talent certification ecosystem based on Open DID technology.
Through this collaboration, AI talents will be able to objectively prove their capabilities through a fair and transparent certification process, and it is expected that balanced opportunities will be provided in various fields such as education, employment, and career transition. Institutions and companies will be able to discover talent more efficiently.
The three organizations plan to build a global-level AI talent certification infrastructure that can be utilized by domestic and international universities, industries, and international organizations, and also present a model for a digital identity authentication system that is internationally compatible.
