
AI tech company Crowdworks announced on the 7th that it signed a comprehensive business agreement (MOU) with Busan University of Foreign Studies (President Oh Seong-cheol, hereinafter referred to as Busan University of Foreign Studies) for the construction of multilingual AI data and talent cultivation.
This agreement aims to combine Pusan National University of Foreign Studies’ linguistic and regional expertise with Crowdworks’ artificial intelligence technology and data construction capabilities to jointly develop high-quality multilingual data that can be utilized across the global AI industry and to train related experts.
The main contents of the cooperation are ▲multilingual language data collection and processing ▲building a high-quality dataset for AI learning ▲responding to the demand for low-resource languages ▲jointly developing AI solutions based on language data ▲training AI language data experts, etc. In particular, by combining Busan University of Foreign Studies’ language expert professors and global network with Crowdworks’ AI-based data building solution and education platform, it is expected to contribute to the creation of a multilingual AI data ecosystem with international competitiveness.
Crowdworks plans to improve the quality and efficiency of data construction by utilizing its self-developed data processing platform, Workstage, and intelligent preprocessing system, Alpy Knowledge Compiler. It is also discussing a plan to jointly promote a practice-oriented AI data talent training program by combining the educational content planning and operation know-how of its subsidiary Crowd Academy with the educational infrastructure of Busan University of Foreign Studies.
This agreement is also linked to Pusan National University’s university innovation strategy. Pusan National University has been selected as a preliminary university for the Ministry of Education’s ‘Global University 30’ project, and is promoting its transformation into a global innovation university by strengthening AI and data-based capabilities.
