
Autonomous A2Z (CEO Han Ji-hyung, hereinafter A2Z) announced on the 4th that it is launching a new brand, 'AZTON', which integrates the company's core autonomous driving technology, products, and service capabilities, and will unveil it for the first time at the '2025 Autonomous Mobility Industry Exhibition (AME)' to be held at COEX from the 9th to the 11th.
'Azton' contains the meaning of 'Turning on autonomous driving in all daily environments from A to Z (Total technology ON)', and when read backwards it becomes 'NOTZA', symbolizing 'an autonomous driving experience with both hands free'. The brand reflects A2Z's philosophy of providing user-centered mobility values beyond technology, along with the realization of safe and complete autonomous driving in the future.
A2Z has defined Azton as a top brand that encompasses its entire range of technologies and services, including autonomous driving perception and judgment, remote control, and AI infrastructure, including the level 4 robo-shuttle 'ROii'. Through this, it aims to strengthen brand reliability, expand its presence in the global market, and enhance the competitiveness of its B2B and B2G businesses.
This exhibition will provide an experiential space where visitors can directly interact with ROii under the slogan of ‘Meet ROii, Everywhere.’ It will showcase various contents that allow visitors to see the entire autonomous driving system, including boarding inside ROii, kiosk-based reservations and calls, and the integrated control center operation process. Through this, it will introduce how ROii is positioning itself as a user-centered technology beyond a simple means of transportation.
ROii is a level 4 autonomous driving shuttle developed by A2Z. It is a platform-based mobility model that integrates perception, judgment, and control software, hardware, and remote control technology. It can be applied to various fields such as urban circular transportation, support for the transportation disadvantaged, logistics, and delivery, and is planned to be established as a core product of the Azton brand.
A2Z will use this exhibition as an opportunity to launch its autonomous driving mobility business centered on ROii in earnest. It plans to expand its application areas to include urban circulation, resolving blind spots in suburban traffic, and logistics movement through cooperation with government, local government, and corporate partners, and focus on transitioning from verification to commercialization. It aims to lead the future transportation paradigm by building an integrated autonomous driving platform where technology and services are connected, while also implementing a user-centered transportation experience.
