Meatbox Global Obtains ‘Smart Logistics Center Certification’ from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Meatbox Global , a livestock products distribution platform company, announced on the 7th that its MFC (Meatbox Fulfillment Center) Yongin Logistics Center received certification as a smart logistics center from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Smart Logistics Center Certification is a system granted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to logistics facilities that meet certain standards in areas such as ▲efficiency ▲safety ▲eco-friendliness based on advanced logistics facilities and operation systems.

Meatbox Global received a 3rd grade of main certification in the '2025 Smart Logistics Center Certification Review'. The Smart Logistics Facility Certification Center under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, which supervised the certification, is known to have given high marks to the MFC Yongin Center's operating system, technological prowess, and cold chain-based low-temperature distribution system.

MFC Yongin Center is the core logistics base for Meatbox Global’s nationwide B2B livestock product distribution, providing freshness-based logistics services to various clients including butcher shops, restaurants, and food material suppliers. The center is approximately 6,000 pyeong in size, and maintains low temperatures through the company’s cold chain system throughout the entire process from receipt to shipment and delivery.

In addition, we have introduced the ACR (Autonomous Case-handling Robotic) system for logistics automation and are currently operating automated stocking and shipping management for some items. We also have real-time temperature and inventory management functions through dedicated logistics software.

A Meatbox Global official said, “This smart logistics center certification is significant in that it goes beyond improving logistics efficiency and establishes the foundation for digitalization of the entire food distribution industry,” adding, “We will continue to work hard to build an automated and data-based distribution system and create a sustainable livestock products distribution ecosystem.”
