World Class Enterprise Association and Hanyang University Technology Management Graduate School Sign Business Agreement

The World Class Enterprise Association announced on the 7th that it signed a business agreement with Hanyang University's Graduate School of Technology Management to strengthen industry-academic cooperation.

The signing ceremony was held at Hanyang University’s Seoul Campus in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and was attended by World Class Enterprise Association Chairman Lee Jun-hyeok, Unitech Chairman Lee Seong-ho, Korea Welding Vice Chairman Choi Hee-am, and Hanyang University Graduate School of Technology Management Dean Lee Hee-jung and Vice Dean Jeong Tae-hyeon.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to ▲provide AI transformation (AX) and digital transformation (DX) consulting for member companies, ▲discover and operate companies participating in talent development projects, ▲develop talent through linking university education and employment, ▲promote resolution of technological difficulties for small and medium-sized companies and joint research and development (R&D) and academic cooperation between industry and academia.

In particular, in the field of joint industry-academia R&D, we plan to jointly carry out customized tasks for companies, such as development of practical solutions based on AI convergence, digital transformation and industrial advancement, commercialization strategies for global expansion, and analysis of technology-based investment and patent strategies.

Chairman Lee Jun-hyeok of the association said, “This agreement is not simply a nominal cooperation, but an implementation-oriented cooperation platform for solving real problems in the workplace and fostering future talent,” adding, “It will also make a real contribution to strengthening the global competitiveness of our member companies and creating jobs for young people.”

Lee Hee-jung, Dean of Hanyang University Graduate School, said, “Based on the educational and research capabilities of the Graduate School of Technology Management, we expect to contribute to fostering talent that meets corporate needs through practical education centered on industrial sites.”
