– AI technology applied throughout production… Expanding to high-difficulty production genres such as SF, fantasy, and action
– AI-based original content to be sequentially released in August
– Promoting content diversification based on technology and improving the production environment for creators

Global content platform Spoon Labs (CEO Choi Hyuk-jae) announced on the 7th that it will fully introduce AI-based production technology to its short drama platform 'Vigloo' and sequentially present an original short drama series utilizing AI starting in August.
The AI production support system introduced by Biglu is characterized by enabling the implementation of high-difficulty scenes that would have required a budget of hundreds of millions of won using AI-based visual effects and synthesis technology.
This system allows creators to create scenes of motorcycles racing on broken roads or medieval fantasy settings without actual sets or special effects, expanding the genre, which had been biased toward romance due to limitations in technology and production costs, to diverse areas such as science fiction, fantasy, and action.
To this end, Biglu has established a dedicated AI task force (TF) led by CEO Choi Hyuk-jae. In addition to the main stages of the production process, it plans to build a comprehensive AI support system for creators, including ▲translation and dubbing for global services ▲production of marketing videos based on viewing data ▲personalized recommendation systems.
Biglu plans to sequentially release its first original short drama series utilizing AI technology for the first time in Korea starting in August, and will focus on leading the paradigm shift in the short drama production market through various genres.
Spoon Labs CEO Choi Hyuk-jae said, “Our goal is to create a short drama production environment where more creators can challenge various genres and directing using AI technology,” and added, “I am confident that the AI short dramas that will be released within the year will become a new standard in the market.”
Meanwhile, Biglu is a short drama platform that provides services in 8 languages around the world. Since its official launch in July of last year, it has produced and provided content of around 2 minutes in various genres, including romance, thriller, comedy, and entertainment, and has presented over 300 works to date.
