
Defense AI technology specialist company Funjin (CEO Deukhwa Kim) announced on the 7th that it will participate in the '2025 Defense Industry Parts, Materials, and Equipment Exhibition' to be held at the Changwon Convention Center from July 9th.
At this exhibition, Funjin will operate a booth with the theme of ‘AI Battlefield Created by Giant KWM (Kill-Web Matching)’ and plans to introduce its core technologies and their potential applications in the defense industry from various angles.
Funjin will also participate in the 'Defense Innovation Company 100 Theme Zone' hosted by the Agency for Defense Development, and will present KWM, an AI-based command and decision support system, and 'EagleEye', an AI synthetic data generation platform.
KWM is an AI-based staff system that automates a series of processes from target detection to weapon system matching and attack orders by linking with real-time ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) assets. It was piloted in the Army's 'Army Tiger Boost Project' and has proven to be at a technology maturity level (TRL) of 6-7. Eagle Eye was recently delivered to the military after verification by the Army Artificial Intelligence Center.
On the 10th, Funjin will participate as a presenting company in the side event 'Defense Industry Innovation Company Investment Briefing' to share with investors and related parties its technological maturity, global market entry potential, and business expansion plans. At this event, KWM's various derivative models, such as ▲KWM-onP (firepower system), ▲KWM-Ocelot (electromagnetic system), and ▲KWM-ARDFNS (air defense system), will also be introduced along with expansion plans by operational area.
In addition, at the 'Defense Innovation Company 100 Project Advanced Technology Introduction Session' held on the same day, KWM is scheduled to present on its development concept, technology goals, and direction of expansion based on ultra-large-scale AI.
Kim Deuk-hwa, CEO of Pungjin, said, “This exhibition is an opportunity to discuss practical technical cooperation with defense officials,” and added, “Based on our domestic practical application experience, Pungjin will continue to develop technology for the early introduction and advancement of KWM.”
