AI agent developer Dalpa announced on the 8th that it has completed the field application of the 'AI Smart Estimate Program' jointly developed with Dongwon Construction & Industry .
The program introduced this time provides a function that recommends unit prices for major detailed items by analyzing past similar construction estimates and public unit price data at the stage of entering the vacancy details used in construction bidding. Users can select appropriate items from the suggested unit price candidates and create an estimate.
Dongwon Construction & Industry announced that since the introduction of the program, it has confirmed a time saving effect of approximately 75%, with the work of preparing an estimate that used to take an average of 4 people 8 hours now being completed in approximately 2 hours.
Previously, the quotation calculation criteria were different depending on the workforce, and the related know-how was distributed by file unit, making it difficult to manage in an integrated manner. The explanation is that through the application of this system, the quotation preparation criteria have been standardized into an AI-based pipeline, and a foundation has been established to systematically reflect expert experience.
Dalpa evaluated the result as “a meaningful result in that we developed an AI solution applicable to actual work in the construction industry and applied it to the field,” and said, “We plan to expand domain-specific AI solutions to various industrial fields.”
