
Crowdfunding platform Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung) announced on the 8th that it will be holding the '2025 Global Expansion Promotion' to support domestic makers' overseas expansion. This promotion is a program that supports up to 100 million won in overseas shipping costs and will be held from July 7 to August 31.
The target of participation is the maker who has opened a global funding or pre-order (reservation purchase) project through the Wadiz platform. New makers can also apply, and the brand that achieves 100 overseas payments within the application period will be fully supported with overseas shipping costs of up to 10 million won. Support will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis within the budget limit.
Through this promotion, Wadiiz plans to provide practical benefits to startups and small business owners who have formed a brand fandom in the domestic market so that they can have the opportunity to advance overseas for the first time.
In addition to shipping cost support, various benefits are included, such as ▲advertising and marketing support ▲provision of completely free coupons ▲exposure to special event pages for overseas customers.
Meanwhile, Wadiz officially launched the 'Wadiz Global' service in May. The service aims to help domestic makers meet overseas customers directly through crowdfunding and enter the global market stably. It is receiving initial responses, with 5,000 overseas customers from 83 countries signing up in just one month since launch and actual payments occurring in 17 countries.
A WADIZ official said, “We prepared this promotion in order to alleviate the problem of shipping costs, which is one of the biggest burdens when expanding overseas,” and “We hope that this will be an opportunity for domestic makers to verify their potential in overseas markets as well.”
