Daily Pay and Smartro Sign Business Agreement

Daily Pay (CEO Hae-Woo Lee) , a small business sales transaction platform, announced on the 8th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Smartro, a payment settlement specialist, for 'provision of PG (payment agency) settlement service and mutual cooperation.'

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to provide card sales pre-settlement services to PG merchants that have entered Smartro and cooperate in improving the liquidity of small business owners and supporting stable management.

The pre-payment settlement service is a financial service that shortens the card sales settlement cycle, which usually takes 2 to 10 business days, and supports merchants to receive payment the day after payment. With this agreement, Daily Pay plans to link the pre-payment function to the Smartro PG Admin System, allowing easier and faster service use.

Lee Hae-woo, CEO of Daily Pay, said, “For small business owners for whom securing short-term liquidity is important, even a two- to three-day settlement delay can be a burden,” adding, “Through this agreement, we hope that more merchants will be able to receive payments quickly and increase management stability.”

A Smartro official said, “Through the cooperation between the two companies, we will be able to provide practical management support to small business owners beyond payment agency services,” adding, “We expect positive effects in strengthening competitiveness in the PG market and improving customer satisfaction.”
