Financial tech startup Finest (CEO Won-seok Yang) announced on the 8th that it has hired Ji-seop Lim, who served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at edtech company Mathpresso (QANDA) for three years, as co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

This recruitment is interpreted as a strategic decision to respond to the increasing demand for systematic financial management among startups and small and medium-sized enterprises due to growing economic uncertainty and to fully expand Finest's financial outsourcing business.

Lim Ji-seop, CSO, has gained experience in the global financial market while working in the private equity division of Morgan Stanley and the investment banking division of Credit Suisse. As CFO at Masspresso, he led the global business expansion and numerous investments.

“As the economic environment changes, companies need financial strategies that take profitability and sustainability into account,” said Lim CSO. “It is important to systematically analyze financial data and reflect it in strategies.”

Finest supports the diagnosis of corporate financial status and the establishment and execution of strategies through financial planning and analysis (FP&A) based on core financial data, and contributes to enhancing transparency and reliability through clear financial communication among stakeholders.

In addition, we are seeking to differentiate ourselves from existing financial outsourcing services by increasing work efficiency and accuracy through the introduction of an automated system.
