Beyond Honeycomb Attracts 10 Billion Won in Investment

Beyond Honeycomb (CEO Jeong Hyeon-gi), an AI cooking robot company, announced on the 9th that it has attracted a Series A bridge investment of a total of 10 billion won. This investment round was led by existing investor LB Investment, with KDB Industrial Bank, BNK Venture Investment, Devsisters Ventures, and Technology Guarantee Fund participating as new and follow-up investors. Including this investment, Beyond Honeycomb’s cumulative investment amount totals 19.6 billion won.

Beyond Honeycomb's flagship product, the AI cooking robot 'GRILL X', is a solution that automatically cooks various types of meat, including pork, beef, and fish. It analyzes the condition of the meat in real time and automatically adjusts the cooking conditions, so it can maintain consistent taste and quality without the intervention of a chef. It is currently being used in various restaurants, from small business stores to franchises and high-end hotels.

The company plans to use the newly acquired investment to advance its product mass production system and quality management, as well as to actively pursue global strategies such as expanding distribution partnerships and establishing local test beds for entry into the North American market.

CEO Jeong Hyeon-gi said, “This investment attraction signifies the market’s confidence in our technological competitiveness and global expansion potential,” and added, “We will lead the global food tech market based on AI-based automatic cooking technology.”
