Mark & Company, '4th Mark & Company Private Demoday' held

Data-driven early-stage investment firm Mark & Company (CEO Hong Kyung-pyo) announced that it held the '4th Mark & Company Private Demoday' at Dream Plus in Seocho-gu, Seoul on July 8. About 160 people including major domestic venture capitalists (VCs), corporate venture capitalists (CVCs), and open innovation officials from large corporations attended the event, showing great interest in startups.

Under the theme of “It takes a village to develop AI,” this year’s Demo Day featured nine startups developing solutions by applying AI technology to actual industrial sites, presenting their technologies and business models. The participating companies were: ▲Onit Korea (freight transport automation), ▲Ames (automobile insurance and parts supply chain management), ▲Citi Lab (ITS platform based on mobility data), ▲Violet Pay (low-fee online payment solution), ▲Ninedog (advertising fee pre-charging/advertising settlement platform), ▲MetaLogos (autonomous driving stock investment), ▲Euler Robotics (random box robot automation), ▲Roai (manufacturing robot planning), and ▲Phobicon (construction cost estimation automation).

A startup exhibition booth was also set up at the site, providing investors and industry insiders with an opportunity to experience the products directly and communicate with the relevant parties.

In addition, Mark & Company has pre-released the data-based startup team analysis platform 'Innovation Forest 2.0' scheduled to be released on July 31. This platform is a system that tracks the execution power and growth data of startup teams, and the new version will be equipped with AI functions to provide more precise analysis and insights to investors.

CEO Hong Kyung-pyo said, “This demo day is not limited to introducing technologies, but focuses on highlighting technology-based startups that are actually being implemented in industrial settings,” and added, “Mark & Company will continue to achieve innovation together with startups based on our data-based investment philosophy.”
