Freelife (CEO Kim Man-ki) announced its new start as a subsidiary of Woongjin Group by changing its name to ‘Woongjin Freelife’ on July 4. This name change is the first step taken after officially completing the acquisition process with Woongjin Group on June 13, and contains the will to strengthen customer trust and service quality by utilizing the group’s brand assets and synergy.
Woongjin Free Life plans to grow into a 'total life care platform' company by adding Woongjin Group's nationwide sales network, membership system, education/content, and IT capabilities to its existing life cycle customized life service capabilities such as funeral services, weddings, cruises, and senior care.
Along with the change of mission, a new corporate identity (CI) was also unveiled. The new CI was introduced as a design that maintains Freelife’s reliability and leadership while reflecting its connection with Woongjin Group and its warm brand philosophy.
CEO Kim Man-ki said, “We will focus on supporting customers’ entire lives as a total life care brand by combining Woongjin Group’s customer-centered philosophy and Freelife’s service expertise,” adding, “We will provide improved services under the new name and be with our customers.”
