Green Loop, a startup developing an IoT-based smart clothing collection solution, will participate in the '2025 World Smart City Expo (WSCE)' held at BEXCO in Busan from July 15 to 17.
WSCE is Asia's largest smart city exhibition co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Science and ICT. This year, 300 companies are expected to participate through 800 booths. The exhibition covers a variety of topics such as smart city development, infrastructure, transportation, energy, environment, life & healthcare, and there are also side events such as international conferences, business consultations, awards, and experience centers. This event is held in conjunction with '2025 K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN'.
Green Roof will participate in the W-H01 Smart City Association joint booth and will unveil an IoT-based clothing collection box that will be installed in the Sejong City Smart City demonstration project through this exhibition. The collection box is designed to increase the efficiency of clothing collection and promote resource circulation by linking it with a mobile app and real-time control system.
This system is being tested in Sejong National Pilot City as part of the 'National Pilot City Innovation Ecosystem Creation Support Project' with support from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement, and is attracting attention in terms of building sustainable living infrastructure in smart cities.
