Innogrid (CEO Myungjin Kim) announced on the 10th that its corporate research institute was designated as an ‘Excellent Corporate Research Institute for the First Half of 2025’ by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The 'Excellent Corporate Research Institute' designation system is a system that evaluates and designates the excellence of research and development capabilities and technological innovation activities of corporate research institutes that have been in operation for more than three years. Research institutes selected through rigorous screening are granted various benefits, including designation qualifications for three years, government awards, additional points for national research and development projects, and additional points for military service-designated companies.
Innogrid has contributed to the technological independence and ecosystem expansion of the domestic cloud industry centered around its 'Inogrid Cloud Computing Research Center'. It has played a key role in the independence of cloud technology by providing the first cloud full-stack solution in Korea, including IaaS, PaaS, and CMP.
In this evaluation, Innogrid received high scores for its possession of cloud source technology, commercialization experience of open source-based domestic technology, and national research and development performance. In addition, it has been recognized for the stability and security of its products by obtaining more than 100 patents, GS certification, security function certificate, and many other technical certifications such as cloud security certification (CSAP). It has also proven successful commercialization and business performance through over 400 customer cases including financial, public, and education sectors.
