Select Star, selected as '2025 KB Starters'

AI data specialist SelectStar (CEO Kim Se-yeop) announced on the 10th that it was finally selected for the '2025 KB Starters' startup incubation program operated by KB Financial Group.

'KB Starters' is a startup support program operated by KB Financial Group since 2015, and its purpose is to discover promising technology companies in various fields such as AI, fintech, and non-financial sectors and support collaboration and commercialization. Startups established within 7 years are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of technological prowess, innovation, and business viability.

SelectStar was selected for this program by proposing a plan to enhance the user feedback data analysis and evaluation system for KB Financial Group's generative AI platform, 'KB GenAI Portal,' based on its automated evaluation capabilities and data construction technology for verifying the reliability of generative AI services.

SelectStar was previously selected for Samsung Financial Networks' open innovation program '2025 C-Lab Outside', and performed quantitative evaluation and data consulting on LLM-based services with Samsung Life Insurance. Through this collaboration with KB Financial Group, SelectStar has secured numerous references in the field of generative AI reliability evaluation within the financial sector.

Kim Se-yeop, CEO of SelectStar, said, “As generative AI spreads, the demand for reliability verification is rapidly increasing in the financial sector as well,” and added, “Through collaboration with KB Financial Group, we will establish an industry-tailored evaluation system and grow into a company that sets a standard in the domestic AI reliability field.”
