Korea Asset Purchase was selected for the group company integrated innovation platform 'KB Starters' hosted by KB Financial Group. KB Starters is a program that provides financial support and close collaboration opportunities with affiliates to startups with innovative technologies and social values. This year, many promising startups including Korea Asset Purchase were selected.
Korea Asset Purchase has already signed a business agreement with KB Kookmin Bank in 2023, and has refined its own 'AI Prism' model based on KB Financial Group's real estate data. In 2024, it planned an ESG fund that supplies quality rental housing to vulnerable groups based on the purchase claim right (hedge protection agreement) with KB Real Estate Trust, thereby simultaneously realizing the real estate finance market and social value creation.
Recently, Korea Asset Purchase has been recognized for its excellent technology and public interest by the National Assembly and public institutions, and has shown rapid growth. At the National Assembly seminar on April 23, Korea Asset Purchase was invited as a technology company representative and presented a plan to resolve unsold housing and stabilize housing through new AI technology. The ruling and opposition party lawmakers and officials from public institutions such as the Korea Housing Environment Association, Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), and Korea Real Estate Board highly evaluated the public interest value and business viability of the platform and praised the need for continuous support.
Based on this growth and trust, Kim Jong-goo, CEO of Korea Asset Purchase, announced that he would begin full-scale collaboration with affiliates of KB Financial Group through the KB Starters program. In order to solve the problem of unsold housing, which has become a major social issue in the domestic housing market, the AI-based purchase claim platform ▲'Hedge Protection Agreement' will be activated to provide a social safety net for real demanders, and houses for which purchase claims have been exercised will be purchased to continuously supply more than 500 high-quality social mix rental houses for the middle class annually.
In addition, Korea Asset Purchase also revealed plans to export more advanced AI real estate finance models to overseas markets such as Southeast Asia using the ODA (Official Development Assistance) method. A Korea Asset Purchase official said, “Based on the successful cases accumulated in the domestic real estate finance market, we will export real estate finance models to the global market.”
