DSMC is leading the AI transition and has introduced its own AI agent, the first in the domestic advertising industry.

DSMC (CEO Yongtae Kim), a new media comprehensive content company, announced on the 10th that it has begun full-scale automation of advertising work by introducing an AI agent that supports the planning and production work of practitioners.

The AI agent, developed independently without an external partner, is a combination of a general LLM and an in-house professional agent, and is in charge of the core functions of planning and production work. It is an exploratory system that searches and summarizes tens of thousands of reference data within DSMC in real time, and aims to improve the efficiency of the entire advertising production workflow.

Practitioners can immediately obtain the information they need through a question-and-answer based interface, and can also obtain supplementary information through web searches or linking with external LLMs. It is especially optimized for repetitive and standardized tasks such as advertising campaign planning and content ideation.

The entire system was designed in-house by the in-house research organization ‘AI Labs’, which was reorganized early this year. AI Labs said that it focused on establishing a foundation for the next-generation advertising production environment, including integrated management of information, improvement of repetitive tasks, and optimization of communication between teams, based on the advertising industry-specific search augmentation generation (RAG) structure.

This will allow practitioners to focus on more strategic planning, free from repetitive tasks. In addition, since all members, regardless of career, will be able to access the same information, it is expected that the work efficiency and collaboration performance of the entire organization will be improved.

DSMC CEO Yongtae Kim said, “The introduction of AI agents will be an opportunity to redesign the way agencies work beyond simple task automation,” and explained, “We will apply AI-based solutions across all client projects and lead practical AI innovation in the industry.”

Meanwhile, DSMC plans to enhance customized AI functions for each team within the third quarter and actively introduce AI into content production by the end of the year.
