Gongka and Grid sign business agreement

Gongka (CEO Hwang Ki-yeon), a rental car digital transformation (DX) solution specialist, announced on the 10th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Grid, which has a nationwide sales office network, to expand its new car rental platform business.

This agreement was signed on the 9th at the Gongka office located in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the two companies agreed to cooperate on nationwide rental car sales networks and new car platform business.

Gongka plans to expand the scope of its new car rental platform business by utilizing its AI-based rental car ERP system and platform technology, and to strengthen service accessibility and operational efficiency through Grid's nationwide sales outlet network.

Gongka currently has a distribution record of approximately 1,100 rental cars in the domestic market, and is proving its platform competitiveness through collaboration with global companies and overseas expansion. Through this agreement, it plans to build a business model that responds more flexibly to market reactions in the new car rental sector and supports the operational efficiency of small and medium-sized rental car companies.

Grid's strategy is to expand customer contact points based on its nationwide sales infrastructure and introduce a hybrid operating model that links offline and platforms to increase user convenience and satisfaction.
