Innogrid Co., Ltd. (CEO Myungjin Kim), a cloud computing and digital transformation (DT) specialist, announced on the 11th that it signed a three-party business agreement (MOU) for 'AI-based national disaster response and smart city business cooperation' with Vantique (Korean branch manager Hyunggeun Lee), a real-time data and generative AI platform company, and Etiverse (CEO Hojun Lee et al.).
This agreement was promoted for the purpose of building an intelligent disaster management system that integrates cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and real-time data processing technologies to respond to the rapidly changing disaster environment, and to expand it to the national disaster response system and smart city infrastructure.
Under this agreement, the three companies will ▲jointly develop an AI-based disaster management system capable of real-time situational awareness and prediction; ▲establish an automatic response system in the event of a disaster; ▲develop a system to optimize the distribution of disaster resources (personnel, equipment, etc.); ▲establish a real-time data collection, analysis, and visualization platform; and ▲enhance disaster prevention and response functions within smart cities.
In addition, we plan to support digital transformation across disaster response and public service sectors by linking with Innogrid’s cloud solutions and domestic and international public cloud infrastructure.
Innogrid CEO Myungjin Kim said, “This agreement is the starting point for building a basic system that can assess and respond to complex and unpredictable disaster situations in real time,” and added, “As a cloud specialist company, we will work with Vantique and Etiverse to create an AI-based disaster response ecosystem to contribute to national safety and substantially support the nation’s digital transformation.”
“A disaster response system requires an execution system that can take immediate action based on real-time data, not a simple warning system,” said Lee Hyung-geun, CEO of Vantique Korea. “Through this agreement, we will commercialize real-time AI-based disaster response technology and apply it to public infrastructure in earnest.”
“AI-based real-time data technology is a key driving force that will lead to structural changes across industries,” said Etibus Executive Director Kim Jun-seong. “Through our technical collaboration with Vantique, we will work with Innogrid to provide advanced AI solutions to the market.”
