MOT Co., Ltd. announced on the 11th that it signed a contract to supply secondary battery assembly equipment worth a total of 21 billion won. This contract will be conducted for approximately two years from July 10, 2025 to June 30, 2027, and the equipment will be delivered in stages. The supply target and the specific contract counterparty were kept confidential according to the agreement between the two parties.
MOT is a company that has developed and supplied equipment that responds to the advanced production processes of domestic and foreign battery manufacturers based on precision automation design and manufacturing technology. This order is also evaluated as a case where the company's technological prowess and quality stability have been proven again in the market.
An MOT official said, “This contract is a result that shows that our equipment technology is trusted in the global market,” and added, “We will contribute to improving our customers’ production efficiency through continuous research and development and quality improvement, and continue to expand our stable order intake.”
Meanwhile, in March, MOT signed a business agreement (MOU) with Inneri Co., Ltd., a non-destructive testing equipment specialist, and established a cooperative relationship to strengthen technological competitiveness in the secondary battery assembly and testing process.
