Backpacker Co., Ltd. (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim), which operates the handmade commerce platform 'Ideas', announced on the 11th that it has launched 'Babamba Perfume' as a new handmade product utilizing the Haitai Ice IP.

This new product is the sequel to the 'Polafo Perfume' that was released last March, and is the second ice cream perfume created with Haitai Ice's Babamba brand as its motif.

Ideas signed an IP utilization agreement with Haitai Ice last year and has been promoting creative contests and product development using various ice cream brands such as Polarfo, Ssangssangba, and Babamba. The Babamba perfume is a work selected through a contest for writers and is characterized by a modern reinterpretation of Babamba’s unique sweet chestnut scent.

The previously released Polarfo perfume caused a lot of buzz on SNS and online communities immediately after its release, selling out several times, and it also became a popular product in the category within the Ideas platform. Even before its release, the Babamba perfume was expected to be the sequel to the ice cream perfume series, and inquiries from customers are continuing.

The new product 'Babamba Perfume' is a fragrance that combines the unique richness of Babamba's chestnuts and subtle sweetness, and can be comfortably enjoyed by anyone regardless of age or gender. The product comes in a 50ml capacity and costs 58,000 won.
