Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairperson Eom Yun-mi) announced on the 14th that it had been selected as a member of the 'NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance', a global venture investment network hosted by NVIDIA.
The NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance is a global VC alliance established to support the growth and investment of the NVIDIA Inception program, which fosters more than 9,000 AI startups around the world. Asan Nanum Foundation is the first domestic public interest foundation to join the alliance, which includes over 200 venture capitals, private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
Based on this global partnership, Asan Nanum Foundation plans to strengthen the connection between domestic AI startups and global investment partners and actively support startups’ overseas expansion.
First, startups that have moved into Maru, an entrepreneurship platform and incubator operated by the foundation, or teams that are being fostered, will be given the opportunity to be recommended or linked to the 'NVIDIA Inception' program. Startups that participate in this program can enjoy various benefits such as global networks, market entry strategies, NVIDIA infrastructure discounts and credits, and AI technology training.
In addition, Asan Nanum Foundation plans to support the global expansion and growth of startup teams in the AI, deep tech, and manufacturing sectors by utilizing NVIDIA programs and networks. In particular, the foundation’s global linkage capabilities and startup support strategies are expected to be further strengthened through market insights provided by NVIDIA, promising startup information, and networking opportunities with CVC and global major business divisions.
Cheon Seong-woo, head of the startup team at the Asan Nanum Foundation, said, “Through the NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance, the Asan Nanum Foundation aims to provide opportunities for domestic startups to utilize the networks of global technology companies, beyond simple global investment connections,” adding, “We will actively support the various startup teams fostered by the foundation so that they can achieve greater challenges and growth on the global stage through the benefits of this partnership.”
