Weige, Gayang 4th Comprehensive Social Welfare Center Signs Business Agreement

Agetech social venture Weige (Co-CEOs Lee Je-woo and Lee Su-hyeon), which operates the digital education brand 'Ddokdi' targeting middle-aged and elderly people, announced on the 9th that it signed a business agreement with Gayang 4th Comprehensive Social Welfare Center (Director Jeong Seong-won, operating corporation Gwiturami Welfare Foundation) to strengthen the digital capabilities of the middle-aged and elderly.

This agreement was signed with the goal of improving the digital capabilities and strengthening the self-reliance capacity of the middle-aged and older generations, and the two organizations agreed to cooperate on ▲operating digital education programs for the middle-aged and older generations, ▲cooperating on policy and business promotion, and ▲other projects requiring mutual cooperation.

The first collaborative project will be a basic smartphone utilization education program in conjunction with the middle-aged and elderly education supporters ‘Smart Force’ operated by Gayang 4th Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. The education program will support the improvement of basic capabilities of the digitally excluded class and consist of a practice-centered curriculum to increase digital utilization in daily life.

Director Seung-Geon Lee of Weige said, “Through this agreement, we will not only expand specialized digital education for middle-aged and older people, but also contribute to realizing practical digital inclusion in the region through education space consulting and training digital education supporters.”
